The motto of the Robbins & Black Agency — “Come Home, Neighbors Insuring Neighbors Since 1985” certainly holds true.
The agency has a 62 year history, and three generations of customer service under its belt. The original Robbins Agency was founded by Bill Robbins in 1959, almost two decades later, he was joined by son-in-law Gary Black in 1977. The angecy name grew along with the company, into the moniker it is known by today - Robbins & Black Agency.
Over the years, Robbins & Black has only continued to grow. In 1980, the firm purchased an agency from Ferris and Shockey. They acquired Hammett Insurance in 1995, with the latest acquisition being Kirby and Spillman Agency of Jamesport.
The business has experienced lots of growth through the years due to customer loyalty, great service, and a dedicated staff.
The Robbins & Black Agency is currently comprised of Bill Robbins, Gary Black, Jacob Robbins Black, Carolyn Berry, and Sara Campbell. All three of the agents, are quick to credit their great staff for the success of the agency.
